SOM 102 - Nature of Effective Prayer

This eight week course is all about learning to pray effectively, using Spiritual Mind Treatment, also known as Affirmative Prayer. Studentss will learn why prayer works, and how to work it.

This class unites the raional practice of Religious Science with the mystical and devotional experience that all humans have of the Divine. With its focus on pracitcal experience, this class will help you make affirmative prayer a naural and effortless activity.

SOM 205: Spiritual Economics

Mornings 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
January 8 to Febuary 26th

The student of Spiritual Economics will gain a greater understanding of the basic metaphysical principles which govern our financial well-being. Participants will learn how to use these principles effectively in everyday life.

This is a sensible, solution-oriented class. It's not just about money, though! You will learn the truth about spiritual substance, why gratitude is an essential ingredient in successful living, how to reverse financial adversity, and discover how to experience security of every kind in every area of life. In this 8-week adventure, you'll learn to experience the wealth of good that's here for us to use, to share, and to circulate!

Join Rev. Dr. Jeffrey Proctor for an exploration of the spiritual genius of Ralph Waldo Emerosn, one of the great thinkers of all time. His writings reveal a mind that thought about God, nature, and humankind at depth - with a practical and witty streak that has ripened with age.

If you've wondered about the roots of New Thought, you'll find this class highly fulfilling... Emerson was one of the three major influences on Ernest Holmes' formation of the Religious Science teaching.
